Battery Powered Oxygen Device
Unlike oxygen tanks, portable oxygen concentrators run off of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Depending on the unit, these batteries can last anywhere from 1 hour to 16. The ARYA has two battery options: the 8-cell or the 16-cell battery. The 8-cell battery takes 3.5 hours to fully charge and the 16-cell battery takes about 6 hours, but the 16- cell battery will last twice as long!
The ARYA POC has top of the line battery power, especially when you utilize the 16-cell battery. The 16-cell battery allows for an astounding 16 hours of battery life, that’s 3 hours longer than its competitors. This means you’ll be able to use your oxygen device longer while you are out and about, without having to stop what you’re doing to recharge your unit.
Charging Options
When it is time to recharge your device, you can continue to use it as normal, and you just plug it into either an AC or a DC outlet. This means you never have to go without your oxygen! The AC power supply is perfect for recharging while you’re visiting with friends and family while the DC power supply will keep your battery charged while you are on the go.
As long as the vehicle you are in has a 12V outlet you will be able to plug your ARYA portable oxygen concentrator in to charge. Not to mention, you can easily replace and switch between batteries by pulling them out of the bottom of the unit.
If you have multiple batteries, we have an external battery charger available to recharge batteries at home without having to plug your machine in. This means you can recharge batteries while you are out running errands, going to dinner, or spending time with your loved ones. And once you’re ready to swap out your battery it’s as simple as taking the battery off the charger and connecting it to your ARYA unit.
